How do I calculate my tank water volume?

Use this formula to calculate your aquarium's water volume:

Length (cm) × Width (cm) × Water Height (cm) ÷ 1,000 = Liters (L)

Example: 50 cm × 30 cm × 30 cm ÷ 1,000 = 45 L (11.9 US gallons)

To convert liters to US gallons, divide by 3.785.

Note: If your tank contains gravel or decorations, the actual water volume may be slightly lower.
